I’m Petsuda “Pai”
Owner and chef of iThaiz Restaurant.
My journey began in Thailand, where food has always been at the heart of our family.
My father, Chef Charlie, served for many years as a police officer before retiring to pursue his lifelong passion for cooking. In 1983, he opened our family’s first restaurant, dedicating himself to preserving authentic Thai recipes and sharing the flavors of Thailand with our community.
Growing up beside him, I learned that every recipe tells a story and every meal is an expression of love.
When I moved to the United States, I carried that legacy with me. In 2017, I opened iThaiz Restaurant, building our menu around many of my father’s original recipes while adding my own modern presentation and creative touch.
With a background in graphic design, I believe food should delight both the palate and the eyes. Every dish is carefully prepared using authentic family recipes, fresh ingredients, and the same passion my father taught me decades ago.
Today, iThaiz is more than a restaurant—it’s our family’s story, served one plate at a time. We invite you to experience authentic Thai cuisine, warm hospitality, and the tradition that has been passed down through generations.

Our Family
Our family’s culinary journey began in Thailand in 1983 when my father, Chef Charlie, retired from a distinguished career as a police officer to pursue his lifelong passion for cooking. He opened our first family restaurant with one mission: preserve authentic Thai recipes and share them with every guest who walked through the door.
Growing up in his kitchen, I learned that every recipe tells a story and every meal is made with patience, love, and respect for tradition.
In 2017, I brought those same family recipes to the United States by opening iThaiz Restaurant, continuing the legacy my father began more than four decades ago.
